About these terms

Welcome Invitation (welcomeinvitation.me) is run by Satyarth Agrahari in India (“we”, “us”). By making an account or publishing an invitation, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our refund policy.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older.
• Keep access to your email and Google account safe; anyone who can sign in as you can change your invitations.
• The details you give us, including at checkout, must be true.

What you may put on an invitation

You are responsible for everything you add to your invitations. Don't publish anything that:

• pretends to be someone else, or invites people to an event that isn't real;
• is hateful, abusive, threatening, sexual, or otherwise unlawful;
• uses photos, words or other material you don't have the right to use;
• shares someone's personal details without their agreement;
• is spam, a scam, or tries to collect money or personal data from guests.

We may remove or disable an invitation that breaks these rules, including after a report, and may close accounts that break them repeatedly. We tell you when we do, unless the law stops us.

Your content

What you write and upload stays yours. You let us store it, show it to anyone with your invitation's link, and process it as needed to run the service, for as long as the invitation exists. Remember that anyone with the link can see and forward it.

Free and premium invitations

• Free invitations: one can be live at a time, with a small “Made with Welcome Invitation” line, until 3 days after the last event.
• Premium invitations: one payment covers one invitation on the design you chose, with any number of events, until 1 year after the last event. A premium payment can't be moved to another invitation or design.
• Event dates must be real: no earlier than the day you publish and no more than 18 months ahead.
• When an invitation ends, guests see a short thank-you note; its content and photos are deleted 30 days later.

Prices are shown in Indian rupees before you pay, and may change; a change never affects an invitation you have already paid for.

Paying

We take payment by UPI to our business account and confirm each payment by hand, by matching the exact amount and the transaction number (UTR) you enter. Your premium invitation can be published once we confirm it. We never ask for your UPI PIN, bank password or card details. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Our designs and music

The templates, artwork, animations and code belong to Welcome Invitation. Music is used under licence from its artists, who are credited on each invitation and on our music credits page. You may share your invitation's link and screenshots of it, but you may not copy our designs, artwork or music for other uses.

Availability

We work hard to keep invitations online, but the service is provided as it is and as available. We may change features, and there may be short interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

Limits of our responsibility

We are not responsible for events, for guests' replies, or for what other people do with a link you shared. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Indian law.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. The sections on content, our designs and limits of responsibility continue after an account ends.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first, at support@welcomeinvitation.me, so we can try to put things right. Our grievance officer is Satyarth Agrahari.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email before they apply.
